Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a technically minded PMO professional to support Digital Thread, Engineering IT integration and cross-domain initiatives in Reading on a 6-month contract. You will partner with internal stakeholders, technical teams, architects and suppliers to govern and deliver complex engineering projects connecting PLM, ALM and enterprise systems.

The role requires strong coordination, risk and issue management, plus the ability to translate technical discussions into actionable

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance.
• Aerospace/Defence experience in MOD/Defence Digital or UK aerospace environments.
• PMO, project coordination or technical project management experience.
• Experience of complex IT or Engineering IT projects involving multiple systems.
• Strong planning, tracking and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, architects, business stakeholders and suppliers.
• Good understanding of system integration concepts and application interfaces.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Digital Thread and system integration initiatives across applications, domains and suppliers.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, actions, risks and issues.
• Track activities and deliverables, identifying delays and critical topics.
• Coordinate meetings with internal teams, vendors and solution providers.
• Support definition and monitoring of integration roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Manage actions from technical workshops and architecture discussions.
• Prepare project status reports and steering committee materials.
• Maintain documentation covering projects, decisions, interfaces and topics.
• Support governance of the application and integration landscape.
• Help structure the Digital Thread backlog and priorities.
