Job description

Join us at Barclays as a PMO Lead Basel IV Programme as we drive strategic change across our regulatory programmes. We’re looking for a seasoned project lead to support delivery and governance for the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)—a key pillar of our Basel IV programme.

To be successful as a PMO Lead Basel IV Programme, you should have experience with:

Purpose of the role

To support change delivery managers in the delivery of successful projects, ensuring that project management processes and practices are aligned with controls and governance standards, and that projects are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Accountabilities
  • Support change delivery managers, ensuring their programme complies with the Barclays Control Framework, including oversight of controls and governance standards.
  • Create and implement standardised PMO processes and methodologies aligned with controls and governance standards to support successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project performance, track progress, identify risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and report project status to senior management.
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Facilitate project governance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective management of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide change management framework training to project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Continuously improve project management practices by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
