Job Description:

My London based client are looking for a detail orientated PMO Lead to join an exciting ERP Transformation programme.

The role will focus on ensuring coordinated delivery of projects and programmes, maintaining governance, tracking progress, analysing data, and enforcing consistent project management standards.

The PMO Lead will work closely with senior leadership, workstream leads, and key stakeholders to manage risks and ensure the Programme's success.

The role will require 3 day per week on site at the clients central London office.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience of acting as Lead PMO on ERP Transformation Programmes - ideally D365
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and tools like Dynamics 365, MS Project, SharePoint and ADO
  • Experience of leading tracking and monitoring of programme and project performance, ensuring alignment with strategy, business goals, and delivery targets
  • Experience of providing oversight and direction across all phases of the project lifecycle-from initiation to closure-ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with PMO standards
  • Experience of owning the development and maintenance of programme-level documentation;

  • Experience of key milestones, deliverables, and inter-dependencies to maintain delivery momentum and mitigate risks
  • Experience of defining, implementing and improving PMO frameworks, processes, and templates to drive delivery excellence and standardisation
  • Experience of leading planning and executing programme governance forums, including steering committees and working groups; ensure agendas, decisions, and action items are clearly documented and followed up
  • Experience of analysing project and programme performance data to identify trends, delivery risks, and improvement opportunities; experience of producing actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Experience of building and collaborating with cross-functional teams, systems integrators, third-party vendors, and SMEs to ensure aligned delivery
  • Experience of acting a key point of contact between delivery teams and senior stakeholders; providing clear, concise, and data-driven updates to support decision-making
  • Experience of proactively identifying and escalating risks, issues, and deviations from delivery plans
  • Experience of ensuring that all programme documentation is accurate, version-controlled, and easily accessible for stakeholders and auditors
  • Experience of leading PMO activities across geographically distributed teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting processes
