On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a PMO Lead for 6-month contract based in London or Birmingham.

Purpose of the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PMO Lead to join our Risk and Control team. This role supports the delivery of strategic audit remediation and transformation programmes, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across a high-impact portfolio. You will also coordinate cross-functional teams, manage reporting and tracking, and help maintain alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead PMO activities for Proactive Findings Risk and Control, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory expectations.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, including RAID logs, milestone tracking, and reporting dashboards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of remediation actions and audit commitments.
  • Manage onboarding and cost center alignment in Clarity and Workday, ensuring accurate resource tracking.
  • Prepare program updates and risk summaries for senior stakeholders, including internal audit and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes, with a focus on automation and control effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in PMO or program management roles within Risk, Audit, or Compliance functions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and internal control environments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Clarity, Workday, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with control functions and senior leadership.
  • Experience within project environments and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with Deutsche Bank systems and governance processes is beneficial.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) desirable.
