ROLE:PMO Lead - Project Management Officer - Contract

DAY RATE: Negotiable, dependent upon skills and experience

BASE: Hybrid role - Remote/Alfreton c2-3 Office days per week

We are delighted to be recruitinga PMO Lead - Project Management Officer, to manage day to day activity for key projects and acting as a conduit to the Programme Manager and Project Team to ensure correct governance and ensure the projects are delivered to time and budget.

WHAT OUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICERS (PMO) DO:

  • Work with SME's and stakeholders across the business to streamline projects/programme
  • Support the Programme Manager with governance processes and controls
  • Ensure key projects align with strategic objectives and resource allocation
  • Co-ordinate project schedules, timelines, and deliverables
  • Monitor project schedules via KPI's and metrics
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Project Management Team and Stakeholders
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance
  • Prepare reports and presentations regarding project status and outcomes

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICERS (PMO):

  • Previous experience as a PMO Lead
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Previous exposure to ERP solution delivery
  • Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage moving priorities and deadlines
