Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an undergraduate intern for a PMO Analyst role at our Frimley, UK site. This full-time internship focuses on portfolio reporting, governance, and project planning within the Global Services, Commercial Modifications Europe Programme Management Office.

You will assist with development of PMO processes, dashboards and documentation, gaining hands-on experience with PRINCE2/Agile/PMI methods and Smartsheet, MS Project, and dashboards.

We are seeking a full-time, organized and self-motivated undergraduate intern for aPMO Analyst role to join the Boeing Global Services, Commercial Modifications Europe Programme Management Office team.

The team provides project management tools, process, techniques, support and governance for our project delivery teams. We deliver innovative retrofit solutions for in-service Boeing aircraft worldwide, utilizing an EASA certification pathway.

Reporting to the PMO Manager, the ideal candidate is a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with information, creating professional documentation and presentations, and helping teams stay on track. They will be curious about project and portfolio management, eager to learn, comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, and motivated to contribute to the PMO's transition from a governance-focused function to a strategic portfolio management capability.

The successful candidate will assist with portfolio reporting, project planning, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives while providing day-to-day support to Project Managers.

Position Responsibilities:
PMO Transformation Support
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new PMO processes, standards, and templates.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of portfolio management documentation.
  • Help gather, analyse, and present portfolio data to support decision making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and PMO maturity initiatives.
  • Support the development of portfolio dashboards, reporting packs, and governance materials.
Project Management Support
  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project plans and schedules.
  • Track project milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support project status reporting and progress updates.
  • Help ensure project documentation is maintained and stored appropriately.
  • Follow up on actions and deliverables with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with PMO standards.
Administration and Coordination
  • Organise meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
  • Maintain document repositories and version control.
  • Support communication and engagement activities across project teams.
  • Assist with the preparation of briefing papers and business materials.
Basic Qualifications:
