Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a PMO Analyst in Oldham for a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working arrangements blending office days and work-from-home. The role emphasizes robust PMO practices, delivery governance and data-driven reporting.

You will apply PPM methodologies, manage portfolio delivery, and continually enhance standards and processes across the project lifecycle, using tools such as DevOps, SharePoint, MS Teams, Asana, Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experienced PMO professional with strong expertise in PPM methodologies, tools and systems.
• Excellent data analysis and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, in particular Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Educated to degree level and/or appropriate professional qualifications.
• PMO, Project/Programme Management Certifications.

About the role

The Guinness Partnership has a new opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join the team on a full-time, permanent contract, based in Oldham.

We currently offer hybrid working, blending office days with days working from home.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced PMO professional with strong expertise in PPM methodologies, tools and systems. With excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, you will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, PPM tooling, Excel and Power BI. Experience in developing and improving standards, processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle is also required.

You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills

• Excellent knowledge, and experience as a practitioner, of programme and project management methodology, tools and systems.
• Advanced experience of utilising and continuously improving PPM tools to support project and programme delivery, and portfolio management.
• Proven experience of project lifecycles, project delivery, methodologies, software, and developing / documenting standards, processes, and procedures.
• Experience in the use of delivery and collaboration tools (i.e.DevOps, SharePoint, MS Teams and Asana).
• Excellent data analysis and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, in particular Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively without high levels of supervision.
• Demonstrates the Guinness behaviours.
