SII UK is seeking a PMO Support Officer to back the delivery of Mechanical Platform and Telecommunications projects, focusing on Risk & Opportunity management, planning, reporting and controls. You will work with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure governance and informed decision-making, maintaining risk registers, dashboards and schedules using Primavera P6 and Unified Planning tools.

• Strong analytical skills with trend analysis and performance monitoring.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain Risk & Opportunity Registers across multiple projects.
• Identify, assess, and monitor project risks and opportunities with mitigation actions.
• Maintain the Risk & Opportunity Management Plan aligned with ERM framework.
• Provide risk, opportunity and project performance reporting to stakeholders.
• Produce trend analyses, dashboards, forecasts and management information.
• Perform cost, schedule and delivery impact analyses of risks and opportunities.
• Support ERM governance activities with the ERM Officer/Coordinator.
• Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Unified Planning tools.
• Monitor progress, milestones, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Support bids with risk & opportunity registers as required.
• Collaborate with PMs, Finance, Engineering and PMO for governance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and reporting.

We are looking for a PMO Support Officer to support the delivery of Mechanical Platform and Telecommunications projects. The role will focus on Risk & Opportunity (R&O) Management, project planning, reporting, and project controls, working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure effective project governance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Risk & Opportunity Registers across multiple projects.
• Identify, assess, and monitor project risks and opportunities, ensuring mitigation and action plans are implemented and tracked.
• Maintain the Risk & Opportunity Management Plan and ensure alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
• Provide regular risk, opportunity, and project performance reporting to stakeholders.
• Produce trend analysis, dashboards, forecasts, and management information to support decision-making.
• Perform cost, schedule, and delivery impact analysis of project risks and opportunities.
• Support the ERM Officer/Coordinator with governance and reporting activities.
• Maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Unified Planning tools.
• Monitor project progress, key milestones, dependencies, and potential delivery risks.
• Support bid activities through the maintenance of Risk & Opportunity Registers where required.
• Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Finance, Engineering teams, and the wider PMO to ensure consistent project governance and controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, reporting, and risk management practices.

Essential

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience in PMO, Project Controls, Planning, Project Support, or Risk Management.
• Experience managing project Risk & Opportunity Registers and associated governance activities.
• Understanding of project controls, project lifecycles, and reporting processes.
• Experience producing dashboards, reports, forecasts, and management information.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in trend analysis and performance monitoring.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Desirable

• Experience supporting Mechanical Platform, Telecommunications, Defence, Aerospace, or Engineering projects.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks.
• Experience using Primavera P6 and Unified Planning tools.
• Understanding of project forecasting and performance measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with APM, PRINCE2, or PMP methodologies.
• Experience supporting bids and proposals.
