Job summary

Senovo Capital Management GmbH is seeking a PMLD Hydrotherapy Support Assistant in Lewisham to assist pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities during classroom, sensory and hydrotherapy activities. You will help with mobility, positioning and the use of special equipment under supervision.

Applicants should have relevant PMLD or complex-needs care experience, follow moving-and-handling guidance, and commit to safeguarding. A DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant PMLD, complex-needs, care or school experience.
• Confidence following moving-and-handling guidance.
• Understanding safeguarding and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during classroom, sensory and hydrotherapy sessions under qualified direction.
• Assist with safe mobility, positioning and use of specialist equipment after training.
• Provide dignified personal care in line with individual plans.
• Record useful observations and collaborate with teaching, therapy and care colleagues.
