Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Clinical Nurse Manager for Women’s Services.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is committed to delivering high-quality person‑centred care to women and their families in line with our organisational values. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide supportive and visible leadership to our teams. This role combines clinical expertise and leadership skills with managerial, educational and professional responsibilities, liaising with the multi professional team to optimise patient care and the patient experience.

The successful individual will provide leadership around some key strategic developments ongoing across the service including the Women’s Health Plan; and the opening of the new Baird Family Hospital. Some key focus of this role will include improving access to services, and enhancing nurse led pathways.

As the Clinical Nurse Manager for Women’s Services you will work closely with the Midwifery/Nurse Managers, Senior Charge Midwives/Nurses and other senior clinical staff, senior managers and colleagues across NHS Grampian to enhance service improvements with a focus on developing and sustaining best practice, improving and enhancing the delivery of safe, high‑quality and effective care of women across NHS Grampian.
