Job description

Applications are invited for the position of LAT ST3 level or above at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Aberdeen Maternity Hospital.

The unit is the designated tertiary referral unit for the North East of Scotland and provides a full range of obstetric and gynaecological services. It handles approximately 6,000 deliveries and 9,000 gynaecology admissions annually.

You would join a thriving and busy obstetric and gynaecology department with ample opportunities for varied and high-quality specialty experience. Depending on your experience, we will assign you to the most appropriate rota, with potential for progression as your skills develop.

Contract Details

The end date of this post is 4th August 2026.

Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required (licence must be in place prior to starting in the post). For more information, visit www.gmc-uk.org.
