Job description

We are seeking a talented Traffic Operator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Gloucester site. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 15:00 to Midnight.

Responsibilities:
  • Driver briefing and de-briefing, ensuring accuracy of data and reporting of defects, accidents, and delivery issues.
  • Data entry of orders, statistics, customer reports, KPIs, and drivers' daily activities (adjusting schedules where needed).
  • Resolve customer queries via phone, email, or face-to-face, liaising with the onsite logistics functions.
  • Assist with the management of the fleet of vehicles and trailers.
  • Contribute to site health and safety initiatives, meetings, and briefings.
  • Working knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations and experience within Health & Safety.
  • Proven experience in an administration capacity.
  • Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude with the drive to promote a positive culture to achieve the best out of your team.
  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered.
Compensation and Benefits:

We are looking to offer a salary of up to £31,537 (inclusive of shift allowance). We provide 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays), with the option to buy additional days. You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
