Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking a Production Operative PM at Trafford Park, Greater Manchester. You will support the manufacturing process in a fast-paced environment, operate machinery safely, and maintain equipment to meet quality standards.

The role requires basic literacy and numeracy, good fitness for manual handling, and strict adherence to health and safety procedures. Shift work may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends, with full-time hours on offer.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy to read instructions and record data.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to understand and follow health and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail to detect faults or inconsistencies in production.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment safely in accordance with operational procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and report any deviations promptly.
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
• Handle materials, components and finished products carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, rejects and downtime.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
