Job summary

Aligra Basingstoke is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for PM shifts on local Coventry routes. You will manage routes with 2–3 drops per day, handling roller cages only and avoiding heavy lifting, helping maintain a strong work-life balance.

Applicants should hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record, demonstrate reliability, and deliver excellent customer service while working independently. Weekend bonuses apply on top of the hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving local delivery routes and handling roller cages.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to start around 12:00pm and complete PM shift duties efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 on PM shifts starting around 12:00pm.
• Handle roller cages only – no heavy lifting.
• Complete 2–3 drops per day on local Coventry routes.
• Ensure safe and timely deliveries and maintain good customer service.
