Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Plumbing Workshop Technician for our Uxbridge campus to support the Plumbing section with practical workshop preparation and equipment maintenance.

You will handle stock, assist learners aged 16-19 in a practical education environment, maintain safety standards, and help create a well-organised, safe learning space for long‑term career development in education.

Qualifications

• Practical plumbing experience required.
• Excellent health and safety awareness.
• Comfortable assisting learners aged 16–19.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workshop and practical lesson materials.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and teaching environments.
• Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests.
• Support health and safety standards across the workshop.
• Assist lecturers and learners during practical workshop sessions.
• Keep workshops clean, safe and ready for teaching.
• Work with learners aged 16–19.
• 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
• Based at the Uxbridge campus.
• Long-term opportunity with potential progression into teaching if suitable roles arise.
