Job summary

KM Recruitment is recruiting for a Plumbing Tutor (Trainee or Qualified) based centre-based in the UK. Salary up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience.

This full-time, permanent position requires Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing, experience in delivering vocational training, and willingness to progress PTLLS/AET with employer support. The role involves teaching and assessing learners pursuing Level 2 plumbing qualifications, motivating sessions, monitoring attendance and progress, and embedding

Qualifications

• Must hold your own Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing.
• Experience of delivering vocational training, or on-the-job training to colleagues/Apprentices.
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET – fully funded and supported by employer.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Plumbing.
• Ideally have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Must be IT Literate.
• Hold a UK Driving Licence, and use of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards a Level 2 vocational qualification in Plumbing within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners'skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
