Job Title: Plumbing Technician Permanent Position
Location: Ofsted-rated Good Further Education College in Greater Manchester
Salary: £25,000 £28,000 per annum

The Opportunity
An Ofsted-rated Good college in Greater Manchester is looking for a committed Plumbing Technician to join its welcoming Construction & Building Services team. This is a permanent, full-time role providing crucial support to lecturers and students in practical workshops.

If you enjoy hands-on work, keeping workshops running smoothly, and helping students develop their practical skills, this could be an excellent next step in your career.

Role Responsibilities
  • Tool & Equipment Management: Order, organise, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials needed for plumbing and building services practical's.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure that all Health & Safety standards are followed and that workshop areas remain compliant and safe for staff and learners.
  • Student Support: Support lecturers in supervising students, guiding them in practical activities, and demonstrating correct use of equipment as needed.

What We re Looking For

  • Qualified Plumber to at least Level 2 with relevant industry experience.
  • Applications also welcomed from candidates with related trade experience at Level 2 or above.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to workshop management.
  • Commitment to supporting students in developing practical, real-world skills.
