Job summary

The Plumbing Technician role sits in the School of Creative and Technical Studies at Coleg Gwent. The post supports delivery and assessment across practical learning activities, plus stock control of consumables and safety monitoring in workshops.

An NVQ level 3 or higher in plumbing is required, along with EWC registration and an Enhanced DBS check. Welsh language ability is welcomed and applications in Welsh are treated equally to English.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or higher in Plumbing.
• Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, or willingness to achieve one within a set period (stated for lecturers).
• EWC registration, with the candidate meeting the cost.
