About the role as a plumbing teacher:
We are looking for a plumber to join the team at Guildford college. If you have knowledge and experience in teaching plumbing, we would welcome your application!
As a plumbing teacher, you will have passion and enthusiasm for developing and nurturing the next generation of plumbing professionals.
Our Construction Faculty has an excellent record of delivering vocational plumbing courses with employability embedded at their heart. This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive professional experience within the teaching team.
This is a full time, permanent contract, based at Guildford college.
We are offering an annual salary up to £42,182 and may consider a hard to fill supplement (depending on qualifications and experience).
What do you need to be a successful Plumbing teacher at Activate Learning?
You will be working towards creating and delivering excellent teaching, learning and assessment on our courses at Guildford college. Our students are eager to learn and therefore we want to appoint someone that has a genuine interest in working with and developing young professionals, providing them with a high level of knowledge that they can utilise in their future careers.
Ideally, you will be a qualified plumber with a vast amount of industry experience, along with a passion for developing the skills of the future generation. You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
Candidates with experience in further education, distance learning and higher apprenticeships are also encouraged.
