SGS College is seeking a Plumbing, Heating, Gas and Renewables Lecturer and Assessor for Apprenticeships at Horizon 38 Campus. The role is permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week with a salary up to £41,076 plus up to £5,000 market supplement.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualifications in Plumbing and Domestic Heating including Gas/ Renewables.
• Experience delivering or assessing Apprenticeships with QA knowledge.
• Teaching/assessing qualification essential; QA qualification desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a caseload of plumbing and heating apprentices throughout their journey.
• Conduct learner screening, interviews, induction, enrolment and individual learning planning.
• Deliver and assess workplace learning with coaching and feedback.
• Monitor learner progress and ensure funding/audit compliance.
• Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment and programme completion.
• Build relationships with employers and maintain regular communication.
