Henry Blue is partnering with a leading Further Education College to recruit a Plumbing Tutor / Lecturer for their Construction department. The role involves delivering practical and theory-based plumbing lessons, guiding students across Levels 1–3, and helping them build real-world skills for careers in the trade.

Ideal candidates may be experienced Plumbing lecturers or tradespeople transitioning into teaching, with opportunities for professional development and teacher training in a

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or related discipline.
• Relevant industry experience in Plumbing.
• Strong communication skills and passion for developing others.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
• Experience in teaching/training advantageous for tradespeople transitioning into education.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging Plumbing lessons (practical and theory) to Levels 1–3.
• Support learners in plumbing installation, maintenance and industry practices.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning activities per curriculum requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Support learners in achieving qualifications and progressing to employment or apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities
