Job summary

JTL Training Centre London South (Orpington) is seeking an experienced plumbing and domestic heating professional transitioning into teaching. The role covers Level 2 Plumbing Operative and Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician apprenticeships, with induction and professional development support.

You will deliver both theoretical and practical teaching, progressing towards independent delivery while guiding apprentices to successful careers in the plumbing industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing and domestic heating with ability to teach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring apprentices
• Comfort with IT systems and digital teaching tools
• Willingness to complete teaching, assessment and CPD requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical teaching for Level 2 and Level 3 plumbing apprentices
• Develop apprentices' technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours
• Follow JTL curriculum, schemes of work and learning resources
• Plan and adapt teaching to meet individual and group needs
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records
