Job summary

Equals One Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our small, established team delivering domestic work across a varied customer base. The role is full-time and based in Wetherby with travel as required.

You will carry out plumbing and heating work in homes, install and service systems, diagnose faults and provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service. A UK driving licence is essential, and Gas Safe registration is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong practical plumbing experience is essential.
• Experience working in domestic properties.
• Good knowledge of plumbing and heating systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve problems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Gas Safe registration or experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plumbing and heating work within domestic properties.
• Installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing heating and hot water systems.
• Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate solutions.
• Completing planned and reactive work.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers in their homes.
• Completing relevant paperwork and job records accurately.
• Working closely with other engineers and the wider team.
• Travelling to customer properties as required.
