Job summary

MEPJOBS UK is seeking a Plumber/Heating Engineer to work across Wiltshire and surrounding areas. The role involves installation, testing, commissioning and repair of plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial settings.

Salary ranges from £42,000 to £47,000 OTE depending on experience, with overtime, a company van, fuel card and pension. 28 days holiday incl. bank holidays and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing.
• Experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing and heating.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Gas qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Testing and commissioning plumbing and heating installations.
• Identifying faults and carrying out repairs where required.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and building specifications.
• Installing pipework and drainage systems.
• Installing commercial and domestic heating and water plant.
• Assessing labour requirements on individual projects.
• Working closely with the Contracts Management team to ensure projects are properly managed and progressed.
• Testing and commissioning heating, hot and cold water systems.
• Recording test and commissioning data in line with relevant compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
