Job summary

Key Appointments (UK) Ltd in Skipton is seeking an experienced Domestic Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our mechanical team. You will handle boiler and cylinder installations, servicing, and maintenance across domestic sites.

The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and working both independently and with the team. A Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification, Gas Safe registration and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
• Current Gas Safe registration.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in domestic plumbing and heating.

Responsibilities

• Installations, servicing and maintenance of boilers and cylinders.
• General call outs for leaks and taps.
• Heating systems work including radiators and under floor heating (new and alterations).
• First and second fix plumbing for domestic installations.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs.
• Work independently and as part of the mechanical team.
• Deliver a professional and reliable service to customers.

Salary: £45,000 per annum
Location: Skipton, with travel to jobs in the surrounding area

We are looking for an experienced Domestic Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join a friendly, hardworking mechanical team within a growing company.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering mainly domestic work in and around the Skipton area. Some travel will be required depending on the location of each job.

THE ROLE

Your work will include:

• Boiler and cylinder Installations, servicing, and maintenance
• General Call Outs - Leaks & replacement taps etc
• Heating Systems - Radiators & Under Floor Heating (New and Alterations)
• First and second fix plumbing for domestic installations
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs
• Working independently and as part of the wider mechanical team
• Delivering a professional and reliable service to customers

Experience with heat pumps or oil systems would be beneficial but is not essential.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Applicants must have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating
• Current Gas Safe registration
• A full UK driving licence
• Domestic plumbing and heating experience
