What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a motivated individual with:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (or equivalent).
  • Industry experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of air source heat pumps and solar thermal systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
  • A relevant teaching qualification (or the willingness to achieve one within two years).
Your Role:

As a Plumbing Lecturer, you'll:
  • Deliver engaging lessons to learners on the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (Phase 4 - Environmental Technologies).
  • Guide students through practical assignments, such as designing, installing, and maintaining air source heat pumps and solar thermal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in workshop environments.
  • Provide support to learners to help them excel in their studies and future careers.
  • Conduct assessments in line with City & Guilds standards, ensuring accurate records for quality assurance.
