Job summary

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification required or completing within 3 years of employment
• Level 3 Plumbing Qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience of teaching or delivering training in a college setting is desirable

Responsibilities

• Prepare engaging teaching and learning materials for a range of plumbing subjects
• Deliver high-quality lessons that support the needs of individual learners and maintain accurate attendance
• Set, assess and record coursework and assessments to support student achievement
• Provide academic guidance and pastoral support and contribute to student reports
• Shape and develop course curricula and specialist facilities
• Build and maintain links with employers and external organisations
• Update professional knowledge within plumbing and education sectors
• Uphold safeguarding, diversity, equity & inclusion, and health & safety policies
