Job summary

Durateam-Environmental is seeking a Plumber’s Mate to support a qualified Clean Water Plumber, assisting with plumbing, water investigation and customer service tasks on customer properties.

Full training will be provided, making this a great entry point for someone with a plumbing, utilities or water industry background to develop hands-on skills outdoors as part of a small team. Reliable attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the qualified plumber with day-to-day plumbing and water investigation work.
• Support with unblocking customer services where required.
• Assist with flushing customer water supplies.
• Support the plumber with water sampling and testing.
• Assist with accessing and working around external stop taps and customer water supplies.
• Support with general plumbing activities across the clean water network.
• Assist with keeping work areas safe, clean and tidy.
• Work alongside the plumber to complete works efficiently and professionally at customer properties.
