Job Title: Plumbers Improver
Location: Reading
Salary: Circa £31,000
Contract Type: Permanent

Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a Plumbers Improver to join their growing team based in Reading. This is a full-time, permanent position with the chance to develop your skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) on residential housing contracts
• Undertake domestic wet fitting tasks, including radiator and valve replacements
• Follow Health & Safety guidelines and company operational procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Complete and report work accurately using a PDA system
• Identify and report accidents, near misses, and hazards
• Support general maintenance and plumbing tasks as required
• Adapt to a variety of customer needs and work schedules

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong understanding of gas regulations and Health & Safety practices
• Proven customer service skills and experience working with the public
• Comfortable working both independently and under supervision
• Unvented qualification – desirable
• A valid DBS check and CSCS card are required
