Our studios are considered one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production facilities in the world. They inform, engage, and transport audiences to new worlds. Your New Role…
Join our dynamic facilities team where you will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, and installation of plumbing systems at WBSL.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as requested by the Facilities team using the PlanOn application via a tablet.
Report progress and updates via the two-way radio system.
Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of works performed, and materials used.
Ensure that the sites plumbing, and mechanical equipment are looked after in such a way as to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance with local and national regulations.
Operate and maintain mechanical systems via the BMS.
Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems. This includes of dishwashers and washing machines.
Use and maintenance of site plant equipment such as trailers, forklifts and MEWPS.
Qualifications & Experience…
Previous proven experience of working within a commercial facilities maintenance department.
Experience of working within a customer facing environment and providing excellent customer service.
Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems including HVAC systems and Trend BMS systems.
Technologically proficient with good working knowledge of DHW, sanitisation and drainage systems.
Full working knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety standards.
Interpret drawings and building specification to map layout for pipes, drainage and other plumbing related services.
Respond, diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with general contractors and other construction professionals including the facilities team.
NVQ2 or equivalent
Legionella Regulations Awareness
Gas safe registered would be advantageous.
Water regulations.
Working Pattern…
You will be required to work a 40-hour week on a 6-week rota shift pattern.
There will be a requirement to work evenings, weekends and some bank holidays in line with the operating hours of the studio and the studio tour.
The role will primarily be based at the Leavesden site but from time to time you may be required to work off site.
Business Overview…
Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. This 200-acre secure site has half a million square feet of stage space, production offices and workshops together with an exterior filming tank, one of the largest indoor heated underwater filming tanks in Europe and a 100 acre back-lot. WBSL has some of the largest sound stages in the UK and is proving to be a very popular facility for production clients.
WB Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for Production Companies. The site also has its own, on-site Set Lighting & Rigging rental division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoots. WB De Lane Lea based in Soho, London, provides state of the art facilities in audio post-production for feature films and television.
WBSL also have an onsite childcare facility available to WB employees, onsite productions called The WonderWorks and Zone10 - an onsite gym facility to support the physical and mental wellbeing of all our employees.
These facilities make Warner Bros. Entertainment the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post-production facility in the UK.
