A leading public sector organization seeks a skilled Plumber for an initial 3-month contract, primarily based in Portadown. Qualifications

Plumber (Public Sector)


VANRATH is assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a Plumber for 3 months initially, with the possibility of extension. You will be based mainly at their Portadown site.


Responsibilities

  • Undertake plumbing work in the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock, including bathroom suites/wet rooms, kitchen replacements, general pipework, fitting cylinders, tanks, radiators, sink-tops, immersion heaters, shower trays, and related tasks.
  • Perform first and second fix plumbing work as required.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify repairs or replacements.
  • Complete tasks outside your trade when necessary for operational purposes.


Requirements

  • Successfully completed an apprenticeship in plumbing (either time-served or skills-based).
  • Minimum of one year's relevant post-apprenticeship experience in a plumbing environment.
  • Practical knowledge of current Health and Safety requirements and legislation in maintenance/repair.
  • Full valid driving licence to carry out duties.
