Job summary

WysePower is seeking an experienced commercial Plumber / Plumbing Engineer to work from the Eaglescliffe depot on sites across the North-East. The role focuses on installing temporary water supplies, waste connections, and welfare fit-out for site accommodation, using MDPE and waste pipe systems.

You will become a multi-skilled engineer, taking ownership of plumbing works from survey to installation and procurement, while performing reactive and planned maintenance and assisting electrical teams

Qualifications

• Mandatory City & Guilds or NVQ Plumbing qualification.
• CSCS card holder.
• Ability to diagnose faults and understand technical drawings.
• Good communicator, diligent, and self-motivated.
• Current UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install temporary water supplies, waste connections, and welfare fit-out including toilets, showers, and kitchens on construction sites.
• Carry out site survey, installation, and material procurement.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance tasks and support electrical teams with temporary cabling, lighting, transformers, and site strip outs across sites in the North-East region.

We have a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic commercial Plumber / Plumbing Engineer, working from our Eaglescliffe depot on sites across the North-East.

We are a specialist in construction site temporary services; therefore, the work will consist of the installation of temporary accommodation water supplies, waste connections, and temporary welfare fit out including toilets, showers, and kitchens. We predominately use 25mm MDPE pipe and 40mm Flopast wastepipe.

The goal for the correct candidate is to become a competent, multi-skilled engineer and take ownership of the plumbing works including site survey, installation, and material procurement. Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks whilst assisting our electrical teams installing temporary cabling, lighting, transformers, and site strip outs on various sites throughout the region.

• A recognised City & Guilds or NVQ Plumbing qualification is mandatory.
• Relevant CSCS card holder.
• Ability to diagnose faults and understand technical drawings.
• Good communicator, diligent, and self-motivated.
• Current UK driving licence.
