Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Technician with a core trade in Plumbing/Pipefitting to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in commercial and domestic plumbing,
preferably gas qualified but not essential. The successful candidate will be required to
undertake security clearance to meet the requirements of our projects. Any information
provided for this process will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Duties
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial
• properties.
• Understand and carry out site preparation, and pipework fabrication techniques
for domestic plumbing and heating systems.
• Pipefitting - Able to work on a range of pipework including copper and screwed.
• Assemble and install piping systems, fixtures, and fittings according to
• specifications.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and ideally be multiskilled to suit various
tasks we do within our portfoilio.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Cooperate with the company and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal
requirements and stay safe in the workplace.
The Candidate
• Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter Multi Trade role
• MOD clearance is essential or be able to obtain.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues
effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
environment.
• Be highly competent.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Ideally multiskilled across other general trades or be prepared to learn within our current team.
