Job description

Job Type: Full-time
Location: New Glasgow, Nova Scotia

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. If successful, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heating systems
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
  3. Read and interpret blueprints and building codes
  4. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed
  5. Communicate with clients to explain plumbing issues and solutions
  6. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

  1. Red Seal certification in plumbing an asset
  2. Minimum of 3 years of recent plumbing experience
  3. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and building codes
  4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
