Job summary

Hyde Group is hiring a Plumber - Multi Trades for roles servicing our customers in Brent and surrounding areas. You’ll carry out day-to-day repairs and multi-trade tasks with a plumbing focus, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

As an experienced plumber you’ll work independently, manage your own workload, and collaborate with other trades on larger projects. A full UK driving license is preferred, and you’ll ensure all work adheres to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Solid plumbing experience with ability to do general maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
• Confident with hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication and customer-friendly attitude.
• Physically fit and hands-on.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade repairs with focus on plumbing in customers' homes.
• Diagnose and resolve day-to-day plumbing issues (leaks, blockages, taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework, waste systems).
• Complete plumbing repairs to kitchens, bathrooms and other areas to a high standard.
• Undertake associated works such as sealing, plastering, tiling, replacing fittings and making good.
• Work independently and collaborate with other trades on more complex repairs and projects.
• Record work completed, materials used, and update progress through work orders and reporting systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and keep residents informed throughout the repair process.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies.
• Provide a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes.

Plumber - Multi Trades

Location : Brent

Salary : Up to £38,000

If you re an experienced Plumber who can turn your hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in your work, we'd like to hear from you.

As a Plumber, you ll be working in our customers' homes carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance, delivering an exceptional customer service.

What you ll be doing

• Carrying out multi-trade repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, while undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks as required.
• Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework, waste systems and minor drainage issues.
• Completing plumbing repairs and associated works to kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of customers' homes to a high standard.
• Undertaking associated works such as sealing, patch plastering, minor tiling, replacing fixtures and fittings, and making good after repairs.
• Working independently to manage your own workload while collaborating with other trades on more complex repairs and projects.
• Accurately recording work completed, materials used, and updating progress through work orders and reporting systems.
• Delivering excellent customer service and keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes.

What we re looking for

• Solid experience across plumbing with the ability to undertake other general maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
• Physically fit and happy with hands-on work
• Experience working in social housing is a bonus
• A full, valid UK driving licence
