Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking an experienced Plumber who can undertake a range of jobs, primarily plumbing, in customers' homes in East London. You will carry out day-to-day repairs, perform maintenance tasks, and deliver excellent service while maintaining safety standards.

Working in social housing, you will diagnose issues, perform repairs to kitchens and bathrooms, and coordinate with other trades on more complex projects.

Qualifications

• Solid plumbing experience with ability to carry out related trades.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade repairs with focus on plumbing in customers' homes.
• Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages and pipework issues.
• Complete repairs to kitchens, bathrooms and other areas to a high standard.
• Record work and materials, update progress in systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and keep residents informed.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety policies.

Plumber - Multi Trades

Location : East London

Salary : Up to £38,000

If you're an experienced Plumber who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in their work we'd like to hear from you.

As a Plumber, you'll be working in our customers homes carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance delivering an exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out multi-trade repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, while undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks as required.
• Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day repairs including leaks, blockages, pipework issues, minor wall repairs, flooring repairs, tiling, and basic carpentry works.
• Completing repairs to kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas of customers' homes to a high standard.
• Undertaking associated works such as patch plastering, sealing, decorating touch-ups, and replacing fixtures and fittings.
• Working independently to manage your own workload while collaborating with other trades on more complex repairs and projects.
• Accurately recording work completed, materials used, and updating progress through work orders and reporting systems.
• Delivering excellent customer service and keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Providing a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes

What we're looking for

• Solid experience across plumbing with the ability to undertake other jobs
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
• Physically fit and happy with hands-on work
• Experience working in social housing is a bonus
• A full, valid UK driving licence
