Applicants should have a strong plumbing background, be capable of cross-trade repairs, hold a relevant qualification, and possess a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Strong plumbing background as a Plumber / Multi Trader.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs across other trades.
• Social housing repairs or domestic property maintenance experience.
• Relevant plumbing qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out plumbing repairs, including leaking pipework, taps, toilets, sinks, baths and showers.
• Diagnosing faults, resolving leaks and blockages, and replacing defective fittings.
• Completing additional maintenance tasks such as basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering and making good, depending on your skills.
• Completing repairs efficiently, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible.
• Working in occupied properties, treating residents and their homes with care and respect.
• Recording completed work accurately and following health and safety procedures.

Salary: £38,000–£41,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are recruiting an experienced Plumber / Multi Trader to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Gloucester and the surrounding areas.

This role would suit a skilled plumber with experience across other trades who takes pride in delivering quality repairs and a professional, friendly service to residents.
