Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

You’ll be on the road every day, visiting customers in their homes and doing the work that really makes a difference. While you’ll spend most of your time working solo, you’ll never feel on your own. You’ll have a supportive team behind you, a van to get you where you need to be, and a clear schedule sent straight to your device each day, so you always know where you’re going and what needs doing.

What you’ll do

• Travel between customer homes, tackling plumbing jobs with a right-first-time mindset
• Receive and manage your daily work schedule through a handheld device and use it to keep in touch with your team
• Complete repairs and installations on hot and cold water, heating, drainage and sanitary-ware
• Pick up tasks from other trades (multiskilled), maybe a bit of painting or minor joinery, whatever it takes to get the job done and our customer smiling
• Deliver high-quality, safe and compliant work
• Keep customers in the loop with clear, friendly updates, especially when a fix needs follow-up or things can’t be done exactly as hoped.

What you bring

• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Plumbing
• Solid fault-finding skills and hands-on experience in domestic plumbing
• Willingness to be flexible and take on bits of other trades to get the job over the line
• A positive attitude and pride in doing things well
• Confidence using technology to manage your workload and stay connected
• A full current driving licence, we’ll supply a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details

• Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm
• You will take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis with colleagues and receive an additional generous on call payment.
• You’ll spend most of your time travelling and working across our customers’ homes in High Wycombe, Watford, South Oxley, Borehamwood, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City & Hemel Hampstead.
• Our wider team is based from our depot in Welwyn Garden City, and we cover all of Herts and Essex which you would help out with sometimes.
• You’ll need a basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
• Ideally if you live in Watford, Borehamwood or Hemel Hampstead that would be great
