Plumbing Mechanic-Mechanical Construction

MED GAS ASSE 6010 AND ASMEIX BRAZER CERTIFIED

Join Green Mechanical, a fast-growing leader in mechanical construction serving Southeast and Midwest regions. Established in 1983, our company specializes in pipe-fitting, plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal fabrication across commercial, government, industrial, healthcare, education, retail, data center, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors. We utilize advanced CAD/BIM tools and engage in diverse design-build projects with notable clients including Samsung, Amazon, Toyota, and several universities.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components.
    • Review plans and specifications for plumbing layouts.
    • Select appropriate tools, pipes, and fixtures.
    • Install supports, hangers, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
    • Maintain water treatment and underground piping systems.
    • Test systems for leaks.
  2. Ensure compliance with building codes, installation standards, and environmental regulations.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance.
    • Verify installations meet manufacturer and code requirements.
  3. Administer and schedule work activities.
    • Prepare budgets and procurement orders.
    • Maintain daily reports and coordinate with other trades.
  4. Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Valid Journeyman Plumbing License in Kentucky.
  • Med Gas ASSE 6010 and ASMEIX Brazer certification.
  • Experience with water distribution and waste disposal systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software including accounting, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and demonstrate sound work ethics.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
