The team provides essential maintenance to ensure a secure prison environment and smooth operations. The successful candidate will hold a NVQ Level 2 in mechanical or plumbing, possess good Health & Safety knowledge, and demonstrate strong organisational, time management and people skills.

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Bedford, a Category B & Adult/Male prison.

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
