Job description

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Plumber to work in the Knightsbridge, London area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company. The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).

This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.

Salary: £40,000
(Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)

This is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge, wants to join a fast paced and high performing team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, maintain and repair hot and cold-water services, sanitation and waste disposal systems and central heating systems.
  2. Fix and maintain piped services, including drainage.
  3. Testing of closed loop heating circuits for correct levels.
  4. Assist other staff members as required.
  5. Maintain inventory for plumbing materials.
  6. Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.
  7. Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
  8. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.
  9. Seasonal shift & on call rota.
  10. Any other duties as and when requested.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
  1. City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing (or above).
  2. Unvented ticket.
  3. Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH.
  4. Knowledge of building regulations.
  5. Possesses own hand tools.
  6. Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
  7. Significant proven experience.
  8. Full clean UK driving licence.

  3. High level of written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
