Job summary

Magna Housing is seeking a motivated Plumber to join our Building Safety Compliance and Home Services team. You will carry out plumbing repairs and related trades in customers' homes, working with a dedicated team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will be responsible for tasks from initial reporting to completion, ensuring high standards and compliance with current legislation. DBS check required; driving license essential.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ Level 3 in plumbing with at least 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Multiskilled trades such as carpentry.
• Full driving license required.

Responsibilities

• From initial reporting to completion, deliver work to a high standard and within current legislation.
• Participate in Out of Hours Rota approx. every 8–10 weeks with standby pay.
• Comprehensive role profile provided during the application process.

Job description

• Salary £37,300per annum plus benefits and additional allowances.

• 39 hours per week.

• Location - coversthe Jurassic coast region from Portland to Seaton plus wider call out areas. We recommend that applicants live within 30 miles of DT6 5BJ.

• Access to a van, uniform and all power tools are provided.

• Permanent role.

Magna have exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Plumber to join our Building safety Compliance and Home Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and other trade related works in our customers' homes. • From the initial reporting of the job to completion, you will play a key part in delivering the work to a high standard and within current legislation.

• You will take part in the Out of Hours Rota approximately once in every 8 - 10 weeks, for which you will receive an additional standby pay allowance.

• You will receive a comprehensive role profile as part of the application process.

What you need to be successful:

• Time served apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience.

• Associated multi-skilled trades (e.g. carpentry).

• You musthold a full driving license.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership for one's tasks.

• You will need basic IT literacy skills, as the role utilises an iPad to receive and complete jobs.
