Job summary

Amey is hiring a permanent Plumber for HMP Hewell. The role covers routine and non-routine maintenance, mains water supply repairs, fault finding, inspections, and risk assessments on site within MoJ facilities management.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, experience in a commercial environment, a Full UK Driving Licence, and Legionella awareness. The base salary is £30,866 to £36,135 depending on experience, with 39 hours per week and a 1-in-3 weekend rota

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating.
• Experience in operating light plant is desirable.
• Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Mains water supply repairs.
• Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
• Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
