Job summary

PTSG Water Treatment in the Manchester area is hiring a Plumber for a mobile role with a basic salary up to £35k, plus a £2k sign-on bonus and a 10% bonus, with overtime available. The role offers steady hours, good support, and long-term stability.

You will work across commercial and domestic sites, performing planned maintenance, disinfections, repairs and installations, while keeping records and following safety standards. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent.
• G3 Unvented certification is desirable; unvented experience essential.
• Solid background in commercial plumbing and water hygiene tasks.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Tank disinfections, replacements and general plumbing repairs.
• Mains injections and local disinfection work.
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Installing and maintaining pipework, TMVs and fixtures.
• Removing dead legs and modifying systems.
• Keeping accurate records and working safely at all times.

Plumber – £2,000 Sign-On Bonus (Limited Time)

Basic salary up to £35k + Sign on £2k + 10% bonus + Overtime (£45/48k+ OTE) We’re growing – and we’re looking for good plumbers to grow with us.

Thanks to new contract wins and increasing demand, PTSG Water is expanding its team across the Manchester area. To kick things off, we’re offering a £2,000 sign-on bonus for those who join us and meet the required criteria.

The Role

Location: Manchester area (mobile role)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

No evenings. No weekends. No on-call.

What You’ll Be Doing

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• G3 Unvented certification is desirable, unvented experience essential

• Experience with water hygiene tasks
• Full UK driving licence

Ideally, you'll have some water treatment experience or be supervisor / team lead and even an RPZ ticket. If you have these qualities we may be able to offer a higher basic.
