Job summary

PTSG Water Treatment in Birmingham is seeking a Plumber for a mobile role across commercial and domestic sites. The role offers a basic salary up to £35k plus a £2,000 sign-on bonus, a 10% bonus, and overtime.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with no evenings or weekends. You will perform planned maintenance, tank disinfections, and general plumbing repairs, install pipework and fixtures, and keep accurate records while working safely.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
• G3 Unvented certification is desirable, unvented experience essential.
• Solid background in commercial plumbing.
• Experience with water hygiene tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Tank disinfections, replacements and general plumbing repairs.
• Mains injections and local disinfection work.
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Installing and maintaining pipework, TMVs and fixtures.
• Removing dead legs and modifying systems.
• Keeping accurate records and working safely at all times.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• G3 Unvented certification is desirable, unvented experience essential
• Solid background in commercial plumbing
• Experience with water hygiene tasks
• Full UK driving licence

Ideally, you'll have some water treatment experience or be supervisor / team lead and even an RPZ ticket. If you have these qualities we may be able to offer a higher basic.
