Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar maintenance role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and carry out repairs.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipework.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and faults.
• Install and maintain sanitary fittings.
• Carry out hot and cold water system repairs and installations.
• Complete basic heating and associated plumbing works where appropriately qualified.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Identify faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work from plans, drawings, and specifications where required.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles as required.
• Complete job sheets, service reports, and records accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and contractors.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable where travel between sites is required.
• Relevant gas, heating, or other specialist qualifications are desirable where applicable.

Working Conditions

The role may involve working in confined spaces, lifting and carrying equipment, working at height, and working indoors or outdoors. Appropriate personal protective equipment and training will be provided where required.
