Plumber (Permanent, Full-Time)

Location: Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City

Are you an experienced and customer-focused Plumber looking for a permanent, full-time role? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, carrying out essential maintenance and repairs in occupied properties across Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City.

About the Role

As a Plumber with us, you'll be instrumental in delivering top-quality service to our residents. Your core responsibilities will include a wide range of plumbing tasks, such as:

  • Installing pipes and fixtures: This includes sinks, toilets, and completing full bathroom installations.
  • Minor plumbing works: Addressing various smaller plumbing issues as needed.
  • Multi-trade tasks: You'll also be expected to carry out minor carpentry, tiling, and patch plastering.

You'll efficiently receive and complete assigned tasks using a provided handheld device (full training given), always working safely and in line with best practices to ensure an excellent customer experience.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualifications: City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
  • Safety Acumen: Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Customer Focus: A strong customer-centric approach with proven experience working in both occupied and void properties.
  • Quality & Efficiency: A passion for completing high-quality repairs right the first time and on schedule.
  • Team & Independent Work: The ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently when required.
  • Damp Treatment Knowledge: Good knowledge of damp treatments is essential for this role.
  • Driving Licence: A valid full or automatic UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, is required as a company vehicle will be provided for work use.
