The role requires a strong plumbing background and multi-trade capability for diverse repair work. You will hold NVQ Level 3 Plumbing (or equivalent) and a valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate, with a clean UK driving licence and your own tools.

They are currently looking for an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join their team working across Swindon and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will have a strong plumbing background alongside experience across other trades, delivering high-quality repairs within occupied residential properties.
Carry out plumbing repairs including leak detection and hot and cold water systems
Work on immersion tanks and bathroom/kitchen installations
Complete general multi-trade repairs as required
Carry out wall and floor tiling
Undertake 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Complete patch plastering and making good
Carry out painting and decorating
Accurately record completed works using mobile systems
Complete risk assessments and follow all health and safety procedures
Provide a professional and customer-focused service to residents
Work as part of a wider team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
Participate in out-of-hours support or emergency callout rotas when required
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Plumbing, or equivalent
Valid Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate
Experience working across multiple trades
Ability to safely isolate and test electrical components
Full UK driving licence
Own well-maintained tools
Previous social housing repairs and maintenance experience
Strong health and safety awareness
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable, professional and able to work independently
Salary up to £40,660 depending on experience
