Equans is seeking a qualified Plumber for a 12‑month temporary contract in Rotherham. You will perform reactive plumbing and multi‑skilled repairs within social housing properties, ensuring high standards and first‑visit resolutions.

The role requires a valid CSCS card, the ability to work independently, and a DBS check with a pre‑commencement interview. You will maintain safety compliance and support the maintenance team to meet KPI targets.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a qualified Plumber holding a valid CSCS card to execute reactive repairs within social housing properties throughout the Rotherham area. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work independently, undergo a mandatory DBS check, and clear a pre-commencement interview. The core focus is to deliver exceptional repair, and maintenance works in alignment with Statutory Regulations, safety frameworks (SHEQ), and company policies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Complete high-quality plumbing and multi-skilled fabric repairs efficiently to ensure first-time resolution during a single visit.
• Customer & Stakeholder Care: Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting positively with clients, residents, and local stakeholders daily.
• KPI & Team Support: Proactively assist the wider maintenance team in achieving operational performance targets and contract KPIs.
• Asset & Tech Compliance: Responsibly operate internal communication systems, personal protection equipment, and the company's vehicle tracking system.
• Reporting & Admin: Accurately log written or electronic site documentation, including job records and time monitoring logs, to support accurate costing and payroll tracking.
• Professional Development: Attend scheduled operational meetings and participate in required training courses to stay compliant with changing trade regulations.
