Job Title: Site Plumber

A vacancy has arisen for a practical individual to work as a Site Plumber within an established engineering team. The Site Plumbing Technician will need to be self-motivated and confident in communication with peers. Responsibilities include carrying out reactive and PPM works across a site in central London, liaising with clients' approved contractors, and providing technical advice to line managers and site facilities teams. A good understanding of Building Public Services and commercial plumbing systems is essential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive maintenance repairs across the site.
• Inspect services, proactively addressing repairs as needed.
• Quote for parts and equipment.
• Work according to recognised industry standards.
• Fault finding and logical troubleshooting.
• Undertake training, including health and safety courses and trade development.
• Assist other trades when required.
• Update and close reactive & PPM tasks on the Corrigo system.
• Maintain engineering standards for efficient operation.
• Follow QA and site procedures, including health and safety protocols.
• Maintain tools in safe working condition.
• Perform plumbing tasks such as repairs and replacements of toilets, sinks, taps, water heaters, pipework, pumps, valves, and unblocking pipes.
• Carry out PPM tasks like pump checks, TMV servicing, and water heater servicing.
• Provide detailed reports and complete necessary documentation.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments as needed.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• C&G 6035 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
• BPEC Water Supply Regulations 1999.
• Ability to work independently.
• Presentable appearance.
• Good communication skills.
• Teamwork and following instructions.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
